How to Delete Your Data

Option 1: In-App (recommended)

Open Missing Link, go to Settings, and tap "Fortschritt zurücksetzen" (Reset Progress). This will permanently delete your player profile, game history, XP, achievements, and streak data from our servers.

Option 2: Contact Us

If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion manually, contact us via our support page. Please include your player name so we can locate your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

• Player profile (name, notification token)
• Game history (all played games and scores)
• Player progress (XP, level, streaks, achievements)
• Linked account association (Google/Apple)
• Firebase authentication account (if linked)

What Is Retained

The following may be retained after deletion:

• Puzzles you created: These remain available for other players but are no longer associated with your identity.
• World records: If you held a world record, the record entry is anonymized.
• Anonymous crash reports: Previously submitted crash data cannot be retroactively deleted as it contains no personal identifiers.

Timeline

In-app deletion takes effect immediately. Email-based requests are processed within 30 days. After deletion, your data cannot be recovered.
